Adam is Chief Photographer with the British press agency SWNS, currently based in New York City covering editorial and video assignments across North America and internationally.
Following a degree in History at Newcastle University he joined the NCTJ course at Norton College, upon completion of which he joined North News & Pictures before moving to SWNS where he worked for six years.
In 2017 a career change saw him move to New York with Barcroft Studios, where he worked as a Director of Photography (DOP) across the USA. Travelling to 35 states, plus Canada and Trinidad, he spent the following two years self producing, directing and filming documentaries for digital media and broadcast outlets which gained tens of millions of views.
He decided to rejoin SWNS in 2019 to focus on producing compelling visual journalism for news, editorial and corporate clients.
